Terms of Use
Last updated: Fri, 30 October 2026
These Terms of Use govern the use of the 2Travel software platform operated by Sam White Ltd., 19, St. Mark Street, Valletta VLT 1362, Malta (hereinafter "Sam White", "we", "us"). Please read them carefully – by registering and using the platform in any way, you accept them.
1. Scope and Definitions
These Terms apply to all users of the 2Travel platform (website, mobile view, customer account, support chat). Any terms and conditions of the user that deviate from these Terms shall not apply unless we have expressly agreed to their application in writing.
- "Platform": the 2Travel software operated by Sam White, including all its features.
- "Booking Partner": independent, external companies (reservation and bed-bank providers and their payment service providers) through which accommodation bookings are actually completed and paid for.
- "Accommodation" or "Service Provider": the hotel, apartment or other lodging establishment that provides the booked service.
- "User" or "you": any natural person who uses the platform.
2. Services of Sam White – Pure Software Service
With 2Travel, Sam White provides a technical platform through which you can search for accommodation, compare prices and conditions, submit a booking request to a Booking Partner, manage your bookings and submit support requests.
Sam White is exclusively a software provider. We do not broker, organise or provide any accommodation services, we are not a party to the booking contract and we do not accept any payments for accommodation. The booking is made with the respective Booking Partner; the accommodation contract is concluded solely between you and the accommodation or Service Provider.
Our service consists of providing the software, displaying the data supplied by the Booking Partners, technically forwarding your booking request and your data to the Booking Partner, and providing the customer account and support chat. Use of the platform is free of charge to you; Sam White may receive remuneration from the Booking Partners.
The booking, payment and accommodation are also subject to the terms and conditions of the respective Booking Partner and the accommodation, in particular the cancellation policies, check-in and check-out times, house rules and charges payable on-site displayed during the booking process. These will be shown to you before the booking is completed.
3. Registration and Customer Account
Member rates and bookings require a free customer account. You must be of legal age and fully legally competent, and you must provide truthful and complete information during registration and the booking process and keep it up to date.
Your login credentials must be kept confidential and protected from access by third parties. You are liable for all actions taken through your account to the extent that you are responsible for them. Please notify us immediately via the support area if you suspect any misuse.
We are entitled to temporarily suspend or permanently delete accounts if these Terms are violated, if there is a suspicion of misuse or fraud, if payments to the Booking Partner are charged back, or if legal obligations so require. You may request the deletion of your account at any time via the support area; existing bookings shall not be affected thereby.
4. Prices, Reference Prices and Member Benefits
All prices are transmitted to us by the Booking Partners in real time and are displayed without alteration. They are per stay for the selected occupancy, inclusive of the taxes and fees shown, unless otherwise indicated. Charges payable on-site (e.g. tourist tax, resort fees, security deposits) are shown separately to the extent that they are reported to us.
For registered members, we display the discounted rates provided by the Booking Partners. Savings statements ("x% cheaper") refer to the public reference price reported by the accommodation for the same stay at the time of the search. Neither we nor the Booking Partner warrant that this reference price is actually charged elsewhere.
Prices are displayed in the currency of your choice. The amount and currency shown on the Booking Partner's payment page are authoritative for the charge; your payment service provider may levy conversion fees. Prices and availability may change until the booking is completed; only the Booking Partner's confirmation is binding.
Obvious errors in price information (e.g. caused by interface transmission errors) do not give rise to any entitlement to book at that price; the Booking Partner or accommodation may cancel such a booking, with the amount paid being refunded in full.
5. Booking Request, Conclusion of Contract and Payment
By clicking the button to make a paid booking, you submit a binding offer to conclude an accommodation contract with the Booking Partner via our software. The contract is concluded upon confirmation by the Booking Partner or the accommodation, which is displayed to you by email and in the customer account.
Payment is made exclusively to the Booking Partner's payment service provider via a certified payment page embedded in the platform. Sam White does not receive, store or process complete card data at any time and does not accept any customer funds. Invoices and payment receipts are issued by the Booking Partner or the accommodation.
If, in exceptional circumstances, a booking cannot be confirmed after payment has been made, the Booking Partner will arrange for a full refund of the amount paid. We will assist you with this via the support area.
The guest data provided during the booking process (names, ages of accompanying children, contact details, special requests) will be forwarded to the Booking Partner and the accommodation. Incorrect information may result in additional costs or denial of check-in; Sam White bears no responsibility for this.
6. Cancellation, Modifications and No-Show
Whether and until when a booking can be cancelled free of charge is determined exclusively by the cancellation policy of the accommodation or Booking Partner displayed during the booking process. These are repeated in the booking confirmation and in the customer account.
You can initiate cancellations in your customer account or via the support chat; our software transmits the cancellation to the Booking Partner, who executes it and arranges any refund. In the event of a paid cancellation or no-show, the amount stipulated by the accommodation will be retained by the Booking Partner.
Modifications (e.g. travel dates, number of guests, room type) are technically processed as a cancellation and new booking; the cancellation policy of the original booking applies. Further information can be found in the cancellation and withdrawal notices.
7. User Obligations
- Providing accurate and complete information about all guests, in particular the ages of accompanying children, as these affect the accommodation's price calculation
- Complying with the house rules, terms and conditions and payment modalities of the accommodation and the Booking Partner
- Checking entry, visa, insurance and health requirements for the destination in good time
- No abusive, automated or commercial use of the platform (e.g. scraping, resale of rates, bulk requests)
- No circumvention of technical security measures and no access to third-party accounts
8. Platform Availability
We endeavour to maintain a high level of platform availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted accessibility. Maintenance work, disruptions at Booking Partners, payment service providers or hosting providers, as well as force majeure may result in limitations. We are entitled to modify, expand or discontinue features of the platform at any time, provided that confirmed bookings are not thereby adversely affected.
9. Liability
Liability for the provision of the accommodation service, its quality, availability, safety and freedom from defects rests solely with the accommodation; liability for the execution of the booking, payment processing and refunds rests with the respective Booking Partner. Sam White is liable solely for the proper provision of the software and the correct technical transmission of your data.
Sam White is liable without limitation for wilful misconduct and gross negligence and for culpable injury to life, body or health. In cases of slightly negligent breach of material contractual obligations (cardinal obligations), liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Any further liability – in particular for loss of enjoyment of travel, consequential damages, onward travel and data based on inaccurate information provided by Booking Partners or accommodations – is excluded. Mandatory statutory liability, in particular under product liability law, remains unaffected.
We provide no warranty for content, prices, availability and conditions supplied to us by Booking Partners and accommodations. We recommend taking out trip cancellation and international health insurance.
10. Support and Forwarding of Requests
We answer questions about bookings via the support chat in the logged-in area, in part using AI assistance. Enquiries that can only be answered by the accommodation or the Booking Partner (e.g. special requests, arrival times, invoices) will be forwarded accordingly and you will be informed of the response. We are unable to make binding commitments on behalf of the accommodation or the Booking Partner.
11. Intellectual Property
All rights to the platform, its software, design, the "2Travel" brand and its own content are vested in Sam White. You are granted a simple, non-transferable right to use the platform for private purposes. Content of accommodations and Booking Partners may only be used in the context of the booking.
12. Amendments to These Terms
We may amend these Terms with effect for the future where this is necessary for legal, technical or commercial reasons. We will notify you of material changes at least 30 days before they take effect, by email or in the customer account. If you do not object within this period or if you continue to use the platform thereafter, the amended Terms shall be deemed accepted; we will specifically draw attention to this consequence in the notification.
13. Applicable Law, Jurisdiction, Final Provisions
These Terms of Use and the relationship between you and Sam White shall be governed by the law of the Republic of Malta, to the exclusion of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods and the conflict-of-law rules of private international law. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which you are habitually resident remain unaffected.
If you are a consumer, you may bring claims against Sam White either at our registered office in Malta or at your place of domicile; claims against you will only be brought at your place of domicile. For merchants, the exclusive place of jurisdiction is Valletta, Malta.
The accommodation contract and payment processing are subject to the terms and conditions of the Booking Partner or accommodation, including the choice of law made therein.
Should any individual provisions of these Terms be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by the applicable statutory rule.
